SONNEN, one of the first manufacturers of self-consumption batteries in Germany, still produces the batteries locally in Allgäu DE.

The batteries have been optimised for over 10 years so that the reliability has reached a very high standard. Thanks to this experience, Sonnen can guarantee a warranty of 10 years or 10,000 cycles. The batteries are designed for a service life of 20 years, which further emphasises the quality standards.

The batteries can be cascaded from 10 kWh to 450 kWh and can also be retrofitted. The charging and discharging capacity then increases from 7 kW to a maximum of approx. 400 kW

Emergency power can also be installed or retrofitted with the Sonnen 8000 Backup System.

Sonnen also offers the Sonnen Cloud Power Plant, where thousands of batteries are interconnected to support the grid and provide an additional financial return.

With the Sonnen Wallbox, the electric car can be charged using solar power, even taking into account the weather forecast.
