Integrated BMS and safety switch:
The SuperPack batteries are extremely easy to install and no additional components are needed.

Intelligent: The internal switch disconnects the batteries in case of a deep discharge, overcharge or too high temperature.

Protected against improper use:
A lead-acid battery will prematurely fail due to sulfation in the following cases:
• If it is in an inadequately charged state for a long time (eg the battery is rarely or never fully charged).
• If left in a partially discharged or worse, completely discharged condition.
A lithium-ion battery does not need to be fully charged. The service life even increases slightly when the battery is fully charged instead of fully charged. Therein lies a significant advantage of lithium-ion batteries compared to lead-acid batteries.

Efficient:
In numerous applications (especially in grid-independent solar systems), the energy efficiency can be of crucial importance.
The energy efficiency of a charge cycle (discharge from 100% to 0% and recharge to 100%) of an average lead-acid battery is about 80%.
By contrast, the energy efficiency of a charge cycle of a lithium-ion battery is 92%.
The charging of a lead-acid battery becomes inefficient, especially when the 80% charge state is reached. This leads to energy efficiencies of only 50%. For solar systems this value is even lower, as energy reserves are needed there for several days (the battery is in a state of charge between 70% and 100% in operation).
On the other hand, a lithium ion battery still achieves an energy efficiency of 90% even when it is in a shallow discharge state.
