Promotion of solar power through subsidies in Switzerland

In Switzerland, the federal government supports photovoltaics with a one-off payment.
In addition to the subsidy, the investment can be deducted 100% from tax income as a non-value-adding investment


The conveyor system is simple for systems from 2 to 100 kW.


From April 1, 2020, the following amounts will be paid out for attached systems:


2-30kW basic fee 1000 CHF + 340.- CHF per kW DC power
30-100kW basic fee 1000 CHF + 300.- CHF per kW DC power


example 1


A system with 2000 watt DC power gets CHF 1000.- + 2x340.- = CHF 1680.-


Example 2


A system with 100 kilowatts of DC power receives CHF 1000.- + 30x340.- + 70x300.- = CHF 32200.-



For systems that are integrated into the roof, it looks like this:


2-30kW basic fee 1100 CHF + 380.- CHF per kW DC power
30-100kW basic fee 1100 CHF + 330.- CHF per kW DC power

A system with 2000 watt DC power gets CHF 1100.- + 2x380.- = CHF 1860.-


Example 2


A system with 100 kilowatts of DC power receives CHF 1100.- + 30x380.- + 70x330.- = CHF 35600.-
